This side dish is about as simple as it gets, but it’s so flavourful, and it can be paired with almost any entree (grilled chicken/beef/pork/turkey, pot roast, Tofu Wedge Steaks, etc.). The flavours go well with Asian seasonings, Soul food dishes, English inspired meals, and as we did, Italian dinners too. We paired this with Haddock in Garlicky Wine Sauce, and we are excited to play around with other combinations in the future.
Time: 15 Minutes
- Snow Peas
- Garlic (lots!)
- Clean your snow peas (rinse, and cut the ends off), and peel and slice your garlic.
- Heat some butter in a pan, and then add your peas and garlic.
- Sautee, stirring intermittently for 10-12 minutes until your peas and garlic caramelize to your liking.
- Plate, devour, and enjoy!
