Our dogs showed great appreciation to us (in the form of lots of perked ears and head tilts) when we made them Maple Pumpkin Dog Treats and Banana Oat Dog Treats, so we figured we’d combine the two ideas into a Maple Banana treat! Predictably, they really like these too! Heck, I even had one, and it tasted a little like a hearty banana bread…although if I were to make these for my human family, I’d add in some chocolate shavings and sea salt.

Time: 50 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 Banana
- 2 Tablespoons Rolled Oats
- 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Flax Meal
- 2 Teaspoons 100% Real Maple Syrup
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil, and give it a quick oil spray.
- Peel the banana, and place it into a mixing bowl. Then, mash it well with a fork until it turns into a paste.
- Add your oats, flour, flax, and syrup to the bowl, and stir well to combine.
- Use two small spoons to scoop little amounts of your mixture, and plop them onto your baking sheet.
- Once all of your dog treats are on the baking sheet, bake for 20 minutes.
- Flip your cookies, and bake for another 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, and let cool.
- Have your dog sit, devour, and enjoy!
