A few days ago, our Labradoodle, Sadie, sat down in front of me and just stared intensely for what felt like an eternity. It took me a lot longer than she thought it should for me to realize that she wanted me to make her a batch of cookies! But, eventually, I figured it out, shuffled off to the kitchen, and got to work. The end result was a batch of dog treats that she (and Samuel, our English Pointer) gladly gobbled down! They definitely thought this recipe was a winner. So without further ado, here’s a picture of the stare that prompted it all followed by the recipe itself!

Time: 45 Minutes
Ingredients:
- A Banana
- 1 Tablespoon of Honey
- 2 Tablespoons of Flax Meal
- 3 Tablespoons of Oat Flour
- A sprinkle of Cinnamon
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, line a baking sheet with some foil, and give the foil a quick oil spray.
- Peel a banana, and place it in a mixing bowl. Then mash it with a fork until it loses its form and becomes a little liquidy.
- Add your honey, oat flour, flax meal, and cinnamon to the bowl, and stir to fully combine.
- Scoop your dough into the size treats you wish onto your baking sheet.
- Place your baking sheet in the oven, and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
- Flip your treats, and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer to a cooling rack to bring them down to room temperature.
- Have your dog Sit, Devour, and Enjoy!
