Fried Goat Cheese Balls

A coworker was telling our team about goat cheese croquettes she made in a cooking class before the holidays…and since we like goat cheese, we were intrigued and thought we should give it a try! So, we bought a couple of packs of herbed goat cheese, breaded, and fried! And it worked really well! The goat cheese remains soft and unmelted while the breading delivers a nice bit of crunchy shell for each bite.

While we used herbed chevre, we think using a cranberry or honey infused variety and then dipping the fried morsels in honey would also figure to make a great hors d’oeuvre!
