We saw some really great looking peaches on sale in the produce aisle the other day, and that got us thinking…If Hawaiian Pizza is based on two Hawaiian ingredients (ham and pineapple), why can’t we make a pizza with some key produce of Georgia?
So, in addition to the peaches, we picked up a Vidalia onion. From there, we added some arugula, ham, and cheddar cheese to round out the flavours with some pepperiness and saltiness to balance the sweetness of the peaches and onion. When all was finished, this pizza was unique and awesome!
