Garlic Butter Cedar Planked Salmon

The other day, my wife had to work late, and my son went to a friend’s house to work on a school project…so I found myself cooking for 1. Since I’m the only person in the house who enjoy’s Salmon, I decided to treat myself! After picking my protein, I broke out the cedar plank and soaked it so that my fish would take on the subtle smokiness of the cedar wood as it grilled. From there, a little salt, pepper, and melted butter with freshly minced garlic were all the fish needed to build a simple yet decadent flavour.

I served my fish over a Garlic Tomato Rice and alongside Grilled Asparagus!
