Bacon and Fig Flatbread

We stumbled upon some figs in our local grocery store’s produce section, and we made the impulsive decision to buy a basket of them. Immediately upon putting these little fruits in our basket, we began to ponder how we wanted to use them, and we settled upon a salty/sweet combo. Having not had bacon in a while, we figured that’d be a great salty component…and with bacon and fig elevated as our main ingredients, our sights quickly became set on a flatbread!

Building out the rest of the ingredients, we selected goat cheese for its creamy earthiness and then added some wilted arugula and red onion for a hint of sweet spice before topping everything with a white balsamic glaze. Lastly, we made a Crispy Thin Pizza Crust to ensure our flatbread would be extra flat. The end result was culinary joy and happy eaters in our house!
