Beet and Goat Milk Dog “Brownies”

When we made our Beet Whipped Ricotta the other day, we decided to boil an extra beet to make some Dog Treats for our pups (especially since we know they love beet based cookies). For this particular dog treat recipe, we used a large beet, so we had a lot more liquid once we pureed it than we normally do for the morsel style cookies we usually make. So, rather than using extra flour to get that normal cookie consistency (which would have yielded a mega-batch), we decided to press on with a wetter dough and make the treats in brownie style! Then, once we got the brownies out of the oven, we let the patty cool before cutting it. Based on how the dogs have been acting around these treats, we think they are very happy with how the brownies came out!
